Great recipe, chickpeas are very versatile and a good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber.
You can save even more money buying them dry but it takes a fair bit more effort as you have to either soak them and cook for quite a while or pressure cook them. I love making legume salads with them.
I am a bit lazy when it comes to working with dried beans but you are right – that is even more cost effective. I just never remember to soak them until it is too late 🙂 And agree – tons of uses for chickpeas.
