That’s a good question. I wrote this recipe for my husband’s retail seafood market to try and promote the bags of fish pieces that he offers for sale. Try calling a seafood market around you… I know we are not the only ones in our area who sell them, so I would assume they are available all over. Let me know if you find them!
Oh, and you could certainly buy filets of fish and cut them up yourself.. but I would recommend the pieces if you can find them, they sell at a very reasonable price (around $5 a pound for the same fish that sells in filets for $9-$13 per pound).
